Manila Rope “Tartan Sailors Wreath”. Knot tied in Nova Scotia, Canada along the shores of the Bay of Fundy. This nautical Turks Head knot has been tied aboard ship for centuries and used for decorative purposes. Tied with a single length of traditional ships rope “Manila”. Rope ends are finished with authentic sailors whipping and then woven through with Nova Scotia or Cape Breton Island tartan to finish. Hang to decorate, use for a candle ring or protect your table from hot pots. Do not placed against drywall/sheetrock unless back is felted. Wash with soap and water.
